4884 Grand River is located at the corner of Warren and Grand River.  It is home to the Architectural Salvage Warehouse Company, a non-profit dedicated to deconstructing houses instead of demolishing them.  The purpose is to provide work for Detroiters and to lessen the load of the landfills.  Much of what is current demolished in this city if treated responsibly could be deconstructed instead, savings resources and helping to save the environment.

We are also home to an additional 20,000 sq ft of artistic, craft-oriented space where metal-workers, woodworkers and craftsmen work to fashion their art.  This will also become the home of the Blue Collar Innovation Center.
